Established in October 2008 under the leadership of Bob Lamb who serves as voluntary chairman, Progress Arkansas is a coalition of business and community-based leaders dedicated to moving Arkansas forward. Our mission is to build consensus and support for economic energy and environmental policies that will support growth and prosperity for the State of Arkansas.
Progress Arkansas focuses on three overlapping public policy areas:

Economy: Progress Arkansas supports policies that will increase investment in our state’s economy and infrastructure, enhance our competitive edge, encourage companies to expand and relocate to Arkansas, and plan for new development.

Energy: with an eye towards the needs of future Arkansas residents and businesses, we must work to expand and enhance our state’s energy supply and distribution systems through proper planning, investment, and innovative solutions.

Environment: respecting the statewide landscape of Arkansas with policies to address growing concerns about global climate change while maintaining economic growth.
